The alliance of Microsoft with Nokia (the major distributor of Symbian with his equipments) promotes that the known office computer suite now could use in a SO that is not Windows.

Already there can acquire by means of the tool Nokia Software Update a version of Microsoft Office suitable for the equipments Symbian, between which they find the Nokia 701, Nokia 700, Nokia 603, Nokia E7, Nokia X7, Nokia C7, Nokia Oro and the Nokia C6-01, which includes Word, Excel and PowerPoint. 

These join to some products that already were to disposition on the part of Microsoft from February, such as Microsoft OneNote, Microsoft Document Connection, Microsoft Lync 2010 Mobile and Microsoft PowerPoint Broadcast. In addition, and adding an interesting detail, enclosed the Nokia 808 Mash View will come with this type of applications when it begins to sell.

Meanwhile, Nokia announced that for the equipments N8, E6 and Nokia 500 they will add shortly his own versions optimized for this operating system, which they can install of free form if they have the version Belle and the equipments connect to Nokia Suite. Also, and in a couple of weeks, it will be possible obtain this version of Office visiting Nokia Store.

Though already there exist numerous applications that were allowing the same ones (or similar) functionalities that the programs inside the suite of Microsoft, the advantage is that what now is available for the equipments Symbian is developed and approved by Redmond's signature, with which there is guaranteed that there will be neither incorporations of malicious codes nor virus or Trojans inside the documents, at least on the part of the same application, which assures us in addition a correct synchrony between the documents and the devices in which we use them.
