Football Manager Handheld 2012 coming to Android

Sports Interactive’s management sim to release on Google’s smartphone OS tomorrow.

Football Manager Handheld 2012 has already proved a huge success on iOS devices, becoming a regular fixture in the highest grossing chart on the App store. The Android version has, according to Sports Interactive’s studio director Miles Jacobson, been in high demand since the game first released on iPhone.
Football Manager Handheld 2012 allows players to take control of clubs from leagues across 12 countries, assuming control of transfers, training, tactics and match-day. The countries featured in Football Manager Handheld 2012 are Australia, Belgium, Brazil, England, France, Germany, Holland, Italy, Portugal, Scotland, Spain and Wales.
The handheld version of Football Manager also includes an exclusive Challenge Mode that places you and your club in a scenario and asks you to complete specific goals.
Football Manager Handheld 2012 will be available to download on Wednesday 11 April from the Google Play store priced at £6.99. The game is only compatible with Android phones running OS 2.2 or higher.
In our four-star review of the iOS version of Football Manager Handheld 2012 we said that it was "an absorbing and challenging game that will make the longest train journey pass in a flash" and well worth the asking price.
